Extraction Cycle:

The LCE Series centrifuge extractor provides three configurable program cycles: spray wash, agitated wash, and spin dry. All cycles can operate in either automatic or manual mode. Operators load pulverized plant material into a filter bag and place it into the centrifuge; the system rotates at variable speeds while delivering ethanol at a controlled flow rate. The centrifuge also supports bidirectional agitation with submersion to fully extract plant constituents. Post-washing, high-speed spin-drying removes 97% of residual alcohol from the plant material, yielding an active ingredient extraction rate of up to 98%. The used ethanol wash can be recycled 2-3 times or sent directly for downstream processing.

1) System Loading

Insert the filter bag containing processed plant material into the drum and secure the system seal.

2) Cleaning Cycle

From the program menu, set the forward/reverse rotation speed and duration to initiate the spray wash operation.

3) Ethanol Filling

Low-temperature ethanol is transferred into the system via the inlet pipe using a pneumatic pump.

4) Extraction Initiation

The centrifuge agitates and washes the plant material; set a predefined number of two-stage agitation cycles to achieve 98% extraction of plant active ingredients.

5) System Drainage

Upon completion of the cleaning cycle, open the outlet valve to vent the system, then pneumatically transfer the ethanol wash to a designated reservoir for downstream processing.

6) High-Speed Dehydration

Select the “Dehydration” program from the menu to launch the high-speed dehydration cycle, thoroughly removing residual ethanol from the wet plant material surface.
