Ultrasonic flaw detection is applicable to all standard engineering materials to uncover hidden cracks, voids, porosity, inclusions and analogous discontinuities. While predominantly used for steel and other structural metals, these detectors are also compatible with plastics, composites, fiberglass and ceramics. Key applications are as follows:

8. Center Value Calculation: Automatically converts defect echo height into equivalent defect size

9. Full-Screen Display Function: The echo display area covers the entire screen, delivering maximum visual clarity for operations

10. Solid Waveform Display: Enhances waveform visual contrast to ensure no defects are missed during rapid scanning

11. Display Freeze: Captures waveform and sound range data at any time; allows gate adjustment to measure echo parameters after freezing

12. Automatic Gain: Automatically adjusts gain to reach the set amplitude height

13. Digital Suppression: 0-80% adjustable in 1% increments, with no impact on linearity or gain performance

14. A & B Gates: Two independent measurement gates for monitoring echoes, amplitude and sound distance

15. Measurement Points: Supports peak or leading edge of echo within gates

16. Alarm Function: Provides echo presence/loss alarm notifications

17. Real-Time Clock: Automatically records the date and time of stored waveforms

18. Operating Languages: Supports both Chinese and English user interfaces

19. Data Communication: Connects to computers via RS232 interface to transmit waveforms and data, enabling centralized defect result management, flaw detection report generation and printout on the computer
