description

As a continuous atmospheric pressure drying system, this equipment atomizes liquid feedstock into fine mist droplets, which are then dried through direct contact with hot air. It is suitable for processing heat-sensitive liquids, suspensions, and viscous fluids including milk, eggs, tannins, pharmaceuticals, as well as fuels, chemical intermediates, soap powders, and inorganic salts.

Filtered, heated air enters the top-mounted air distributor of the dryer, then flows uniformly in a spiral pattern into the drying chamber. Feed liquid is delivered to the tower’s top-mounted high-speed centrifugal atomizer, which spins and atomizes it into ultra-fine mist droplets. These droplets undergo cocurrent contact with hot air, drying into finished products in an extremely short time. Finished products are continuously discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and cyclone separator, while exhaust air is evacuated by an induced draft fan.

Equipped with an electric heating system, the dryer uses enclosed heating elements to directly heat the drying medium within pipelines, paired with a pressure regulation control set. Temperature accuracy is maintained within ±2°C, with a maximum heater operating temperature of 220°C.

The drying tower—constructed from 304 stainless steel—comprises a tower body, lighting lamp, gas distributor, temperature control equipment, air inlet and outlet pipelines, with a filter installed inside the air inlet pipeline. Atomized slurry is heated by hot air, with moisture volatilized to form powder that falls to the bottom discharge port; exhaust gas is routed through a closed-circulation pipeline for discharge.

The feeding system includes a feeding peristaltic pump, feeding pipelines, and an atomizer. Prepared slurry is placed in a batching tank, stirred uniformly, then delivered to the atomizer via pipeline valves by the peristaltic pump. The atomizer is fitted with a specialized nozzle manufactured by Shanghai Qiaofeng, which comes with a one-year warranty.

The equipment integrates six key subsystems: a feeding system, heating system, dry air supply unit, atomization system, spray drying system, and product recovery system.

Gas circulation is powered by a dedicated circulating fan. The drying medium is discharged from the fan, flows through the electric heater, drying tower, cyclone separator or bag filter, and is then exhausted, forming a closed-loop gas circulation system.

Powder-laden steam contained in the gas discharged from the drying tower’s bottom is efficiently recovered using a cyclone separator.
