Constructed in compliance with China’s national standard GB/T1841 and ASTM D2170 Standard Test Method for Viscosity of Polyolefin Resin Solutions, this instrument determines the viscosity of decahydronaphthalene solutions of polyethylene and polypropylene at specified temperatures. Additionally, it can measure asphalt viscosity at stipulated temperatures in accordance with China’s industrial standard T0619 Asphalt Kinematic Viscosity Test (Capillary Viscometer Method).

1. Equipped with a 1700W stainless steel electric heating tube, the tester enables rapid temperature ramp-up. At the set observation temperature point, it automatically adjusts heating power to ensure consistent bath temperature stability.
2. The instrument incorporates a double-layer glass bath system. Its inner layer is a φ 300mm × 300mm hard high-temperature glass cylinder capable of withstanding temperatures up to 180 ℃, while the outer insulation sleeve is a φ 360mm× 285mm glass cylinder with an air insulation layer between the inner and outer layers. The bath cover has two dedicated ports for a thermometer and sensor respectively, plus four capillary mounting holes that allow simultaneous testing of two groups of parallel samples.
