The XRY-1A Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter is designed and manufactured in strict compliance with the People’s Republic of China National Standards GB/T 213 “Method for Measuring the Calorific Value of Coal” and GB/T 384 “Method for the Determination of Calorific Value of Petroleum Products”, as well as the National Metrological Verification Regulation JJG672 “Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter” and Shanghai Enterprise Standard Q/YXYY 10 “XRY-1 Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter”.

With a heat capacity of 14400~14500J/K, this instrument is suitable for determining the calorific value of non-aqueous petroleum products (including gasoline, jet fuel, diesel and fuel oil) and other combustible substances such as coal, coke, and paraffin using the oxygen bomb calorimetry method.

Featuring a double-layer outer water jacket, this instrument is filled with water during experiments. A dedicated agitator ensures uniform water temperature within the jacket, creating a stable constant-temperature environment that meets stringent testing criteria.

Its inner water cylinder is constructed from stainless steel sheet with a pear-shaped cross-section, holding 3000 grams of water. An electric stirrer integrated into the cylinder maintains uniform water bath temperature for consistent testing conditions.

Equipped with a stainless steel self-sealing oxygen bomb, this component is robust enough to withstand the maximum pressure of 60 to 70 atmospheres from solid combustion, as well as the higher pressures produced by liquid fuel combustion.
