This tester is engineered in compliance with China’s industrial standard SH/T 0193: Lubricating Oils – Determination of Oxidation Stability – Rotating Pressure Vessel Method, as well as ASTM D2272: Standard Test Method for Oxidation Stability of Steam Turbine Oils by Rotating Pressure Vessel.

It is used to assess the oxidation stability of steam turbine oils with matching base oil and additive formulations, and is also suitable for testing new mineral insulating oils containing 2,6-BHT.
