The FFE-250 falling film evaporator is an industrial system engineered to concentrate solutions, especially those containing heat-sensitive components, and recover solvents such as ethanol, hexane, and heptane. Its name originates from the downward-flowing fluid film that forms along the inner walls of its vertical tubes, making it uniquely suited for processing low-viscosity materials with minimal fouling tendency.

Evaporation occurs within vertical tubes housed in a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, topped by a proprietary liquid distribution mechanism. Precision-designed, this distributor ensures uniform and efficient liquid delivery to every tube, allowing the product to flow as a continuous gravity-driven falling film.

The complete solvent recovery system integrates not only the falling film evaporator but also a circulation heater (with optional steam generator), water cooling tower, circulation chiller, vacuum pump, and all required accessories.
