The FFE-100 Falling Film Evaporator is an industrial-grade unit engineered to concentrate heat-sensitive solutions and recover solvents including ethanol, hexane, and heptane. As indicated by its name, the fluid forms a thin film along vertical tube walls and flows downward under gravity. This equipment is specifically optimized for processing low-viscosity products with minimal fouling tendency.

Evaporation takes place within vertical tubes housed in a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, which is topped with a proprietary liquid distribution device. Meticulously designed, this distributor ensures efficient, uniform liquid allocation to every tube, allowing the product to flow continuously as a falling film driven by gravity.

Our complete solvent recovery system includes not only the falling film evaporator itself but also a circulation heater (with optional steam generator), water cooling tower, circulation chiller, vacuum pump, and all necessary auxiliary components.
