The LM-2 series ultrasonic thickness gauge boasts exceptional measurement performance, delivering highly stable and accurate readings.

Equipped with coating penetration capability, the LM-2D model can directly measure substrate thickness without removing surface coatings such as paint or plastic layers. This function is achieved by detecting two consecutive bottom echoes of the substrate, and also offers advantages including zero-free calibration, high reading stability and minimal zero drift.

2. Operational principles: Pulse-echo mode for standard thickness measurements; Echo-echo mode (coating mode) enables substrate thickness measurement without paint layer removal

3. Measurement accuracy: ±0.05 mm (for thickness 10 mm, where H denotes the measured object’s thickness)

4. Calibration modes: One-point calibration for routine testing; Two-point calibration to enhance accuracy for curved surface wall thickness measurements or special applications

5. V-path correction: Compensates for nonlinearity in bimorph probes via sound path adjustment

6. Minimum thickness scanning: Automatically detects and measures the thinnest section when the probe is dragged across the test object’s surface

7. Optional UmView application software: Enables transmission, storage, analysis and documentation editing of measurement data
