This analyzer utilizes precisely concentrated acid and alkali solutions for digestion under controlled conditions. Following the removal of soluble components via alcohol treatment and high-temperature incineration of the remaining material, the crude raw fiber content is calculated by subtracting mineral ash from the residual mass. It is not a distinct chemical substance, but a combined analytical component defined under mandatory regulatory standards, consisting primarily of cellulose, with small amounts of hemicellulose and lignin.
